The words of this song truly SAY IT ALL! Exactly what is said...IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS! All FEARS, TROUBLES, PROBLEMS, CONFUSION, EVERYTHING "NEGATIVE" & "EVIL"......"VANISH!! "ALWAYS...WITHOUT FAIL"!! I have terminal cancer and I have NEVER FEARED & I HAVE LIVED 8 YRS LONGER THAN EVER EXPECTED!! Praise be to God for his love, his miracles, his faithfulness to his children (even when we aren't faithful to him), he always loves us and wants what is truly the very best for us "ALWAYS"!

Oh I love this song...it just speaks my heart how I feel about God...and what my spirit wanted to say but didn't know how . And Damris' performance is excellent...the first time I heard this song, I thought it was the late Phyllis Hyman...

God Bless you all, but people need to understand that Jesus is the Son of God and He is God.. They shall call His name Jesus for He shall save His people, so he would destroy the works of the devil, or Isaiah 9:6 you know it all.. (the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace (after the order of Melchizedek in Genesis))..
He is the Son of God because He came in flesh, 1 Timothy 3:16 states that well... so He made Himself like us as a man.. No greater love story..

In the book of Daniel when the three Hebrew boys were thrown into the fire a fourth figure was seen that looked like the son of man....which means they saw God in the fleshly image the same way he came to earth centuries later....in the form of man. Our minds can't perceive such things but when we allow ourselves to perceive by the spirit it is revealed to us...by the Holy Ghost....but not explainable with words only...but by faith. Only when we shut the eyes of reason can we see by faith.

Amen sister...go on to verse 10 in John 1 which says He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. This is speaking of God almighty forming himself in flesh...he did so as a holy sacrafice for the forgiveness of our sins. With the perfect sacrafice the veil was torn in the temple which allows us to go straight to God in prayer...in Jesus name....One Lord, One Faith...One Baptism....Jesus name baptism submerged in water with the blood washing our sins away....

In my opinion he was praying for two reasons.. One, he was leading by example.. He was teaching us how to pray by praying.. and two... He prayed because he was not only God, but human at the same time.. And the human half didnt want to die.. Although he knew he had to do it so that you and i could be saved.. Read 1 timothy 2 and 5. it says the man Christ Jesus. We already know hes a man.. To me, this implies that hes more than just a man.. Hes God and man! :) God Bless!

Jesus is God, you have to believe the Word.
Romans 9:5-"...Christ came, who is over all, the eternally blessed God. Amen" (NKJV).
Matthew 1:23-"Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
Titus 2:13-"Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ" (NKJV).
