The "dice are rolling: piece may have seemed much more real in the movie, but doesn't mean it's good. The movie was enjoyable, but Madonna was such a failure as Eva that it ruins it for me.

@alexgomez83 I agree, RRRs, not necessary but if you prefer movies to the stage then you really don't love musicals. The theater is eltrifying. Movies, not so much.

i love musicals dont get me wrong. But in comparison i prefer musicals that have been turned into movies. RENT, EVITA, and Phantom of The OPERA. You get the extravagant show but at the same time you get the personal toned down emotional connection as well. that "dice are rolling" piece is seems much more real in the movie. This guys rolling RRRRs are a little too much.

No one that has played Eva, Che, or Perón in any adaptation before or after this broadway production could touch any of these three with a 50 foot pole. This trio is the ultimate.

Phantom gives me headaches. Cats Terrifies me. To Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar I say BRAVA and Sunset Boulevard has SOME phenomenalness.... but also some YUCKYNESS
