After reading your comment, I noticed he does the arm thing as he sings, "I was speeding through the subway." I hadn't thought of another definition of "speeding" until I read your post. Interesting.

that thing Bono keeps doing with his arm...he does it during every heroin related song: running to stand still, unknown caller, moment of surrender... is that something as part of the act, or is it something with his arm? i would think its for the show, but i keep seeing him do it outside the heroin songs. any thoughts?
