Composer Ross Edwards assures that Ricordi London will soon publish an updated version. The version here is largely, though with a few significant momentary diversions, the arrangement made by Adrian Walter and published by the Darwin International Guitar Festival around 1993-1995. It is not widely available for sale. Re: macmanue's comment, the 2nd dance is the trickiest to get one's head around, but it DOES work v. effectively. When the CD comes out in March, compare arrangement vs. recording!

Yes, I actually got a copy from my teacher at my university. The 2nd movement doesn't fit too well on the guitar, but I really love the 1st! I haven't looked at the 3rd movement yet.
Aleksandr does a great job!

The sheet music is available. I have it. Difficult to find but it is out there. I think there are three movements.

Hey! I'm sure it is published for guitar because a young guy in my class plays it!

:( Such a shame!
But I'll keep looking :)
Thanks

You won't. It's originally for marimba and I imagine this is probably Aleksandr's own arrangement. I don't think it's been published for guitar but I stand to be corrected. |
