Sweet music! I wouldn't want to hear it any other way.

I would rather eat good food than bad food any ol' day of the week.

Hehe I can't figure out why I ever hated this movie. It's now one of my absolute favorites. I loved Don Knotts, and this song was fantastic.

Loved all the music from this movie back when I was a kid. It made all the hair stand up on the back of my neck.lol R.I.P. Vic, Rock On!

Yes, Vic Mizzy (who BTW died last night) composed and PLAYED the organ music for THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN. He told me so in person. Seems the organist that Universal had hired could not play the foot pedals, so Mizzy did it himself.

RIP Vic...

I am 56 years old now and I remember that organ piece and learned it it 42 years ago and play it on any Mollar Pipe Organ I can find. Vic Mizzy I believe did play this piece as I am researching the movie now and will know exactly who played The Haunted Organ for the film. I have played Led Zepplin for years and this organ piece is the most played.

I loved it when at the end of the movie at the wedding, the creepy music starts playing and nobody's playing it!

Classic. This is the source movie where organ music became associated with haunted houses. - ...And they used Bon - Ami !!! |
