Don Knotts was a wonderful man. I am 56 years old with Blood Cancer, but with all of my issues, I still watch Don Knotts Shows and movies. The Ghost and Mr. Chicken was one of the natural Don Knotts characters that I miss. He was just plain funny. I have been playing The Haunted Organ written by Vic Mizzy and played in the Ghost and Mr. Chicken for 42 years. After playing rock in the sixties and seventies it was Don Knotts that kept me laughing.

Don Knotts was funny and a genuine person and I can't imagine anyone not liking him. All his films were a hoot and he was an incredible Deputy in Mayberry with only one bullet ha ha..RIP Don...You will be missed.

Years ago, somebody told me that Don Knotts was so funny that just looking at his face was enough to make a person crack up laughing. I concur; and Mr. Knotts stands as one of my all time favorite actors, in part because of his memorable performances, and in part because he is one of the few actors who seemed to have a character that stayed the same whether on or off camera. He was a tribute to all of us.
