Glenn Hughes is better than Gillan and David Coverdale.
Deep purple, come to Brazil please!

You are correct in my opinion. Coverdale was so great when he was younger. This is the first I've heard of Mark III D.P. and it's awesome

1:33 & 1:47 amazing vocals. That guitar tone is vicious especially coming from a strat. R.B. was always great at coaxing superb sounds from his strat.

Seems like most people prefer Hughes to Coverdale, but I say Coverdale's voice is the driving force behind this song. Hughes is more of a funk/soul musician, which is why Blackmore eventually left the band. Coverdale's bluesy voice is better suited to heavy rock like this |
