Good point. You usually don't see non-accented flams until later, but it's always good to remember.

Think of it as two sticks coming down at the same speed from different heights. The lower one is going to hit first. But stick that is higher, is going to be capitalized when you see a flam written. Rl for example R=Right hand, stick higher up. l=Left hand, stick lower. Lr is the same thing, just inverted hands.
