I like the Grace Under Pressure tour version better, the Synths are so much more powerful. I do like Geddy's voice 20 years later though, it's very nice:)

Add a bassline Geddy. I've already done it. and it fits great with the song

Thanks for the clip - I hadn't seen it before.
With that said, this version doesn't stand up to the live version from the Grace Under Pressure tour. That version is the best live version out there - really strong and gritty.
This version's audio mix has the keyboards buried way too far behind the guitar...

I challenge anyone to give me one example of a guitar piece that sounds anything close to this? Simple answer, NONE.

Rush is fucking awesome, no one else can compare

Alex took approximately six notes and made it sound like about 30. The guitar movement in this song is nothing short of genius!

Kind of ironic, A tune about the holocaust being played in Germany. Obviously that was of another era and I'm certainly not suggesting anything negative about Germans.

Rock and Roll HOF is pathetic. Look at the crap they let in before Rush.

because one of the judges is the rolling stones editor, who has some a thing against rush. |
