Gross misconception--I recommend you read "The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve" by G. Edward Griffin, "The Case Against the Fed" by Murray N. Rothbard, and "America's Great Depression" also by Murray N. Rothbard. The current debt-based system couldn't exist without a Central Bank (Federal Reserve) and violation of voluntary contracts (Fractional Reserve banking). It's a common misconception, however, that the Free Market caused it.

The government did not create the Great Depression, Free Market Debt did. Debt, debt and more debt. JUST LIKE THIS TIME AROUND, TOO.

Anachronism: At 1:29 that photo's from WW2, not WW1.

Thanks for uploading this song. It meant a lot to mum and dad who lived through this time. I wish I could have understood it better when I was a child.

of all the terrible disaster the government created, this was one of the worst....sadly, it'll happen again :( worse yet, the Free Market will be blamed again, and it'll continue to contract.
