Amen brother. This series would star on a cable network in this day and age. It died an early death from being too brilliant for its time. Sad really.

when i was a child,i loved this drama series.unfortunately this drama never found ending in the television,specially in Indonesia.I like the music in this drama..

The solving of the case only brought up more unanswered questions and even darker mysteries. David Lynch and Mark Frost were trying to do what series like "The X-Files", "Buffy", "Veronica Mars", and "Lost" would do later: develop complex story arcs that reverberated through later seasons and influenced events to come. The trouble was that ABC network execs had tunnel-vision and couldn't grasp the big picture.
