I think this is one of the best shows I have seen!!! I miss these old stars and supporting stars that were a staple for so many years, and when you see the junk they through at us today, makes me hope and belive that the quality will come back, thank's jim

Hi. Culver City was once upon a time an actual suburb of Los Angeles until it got swallowed up after WWII. The studio that Desi is walking around in actually was the old RKO studios. He and Lucy bought RKO in about 1950. AS you see they still had the old King Kong figure from 1933. The gates from the original movie had been burned down as part of the burning of Atlanta scene used in Gone With the Wind 1939 although that scene had actually been filmed much earlier in about 1935.
