I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Michael Franks on 9/12/08. He stuck out his hand and I grabbed him in a hug! Truely an honor, something I will NEVER forget. I was amazed that he came to such a small venue. To actually meet,(and hug!) him, put me over the moon! What a wonderful person! He was always my favorite but he has now exceded all expectation! What a GREAT guy! Sunny1

I worked at the S.I.R. Rehearsal Studios Hollywood,CA in the mid-70's. Michael rehearsed there a few times during that time and you're right, he is such a smooth singer and outright nice person to meet. Never a bad attitude towards his musicians or crew, rare in today's performers.

On our Tuskegee Institute College campus it was 1976 and Michael was one of the smoothest artists that a guy could use that would be a favorite with the honeys......
