Misora was such a wonderful singer. She sang with her heart and touched our souls. She was so powerful and, even now, her songs are timeless and so full of love. I am not ashamed to say that even though I am a man her singing brings tears to my eyes. I am sure she is loved and missed by many in Japan and throughout the world. Life is so short and we must make sure to leave something meaningful when we depart this earth. Misora Hibary certainly left us her wonderful songs and performances.

谷村新司の昴をよく聴いていたので、ひばりさんの唄ったのは、あまり馴染めなかったのですが、何回か聴くうちにに、なぜかすばらしく良く感じてきました。 この歌の奥ゆかしいところを最大に引き出しているとおもいます。最高です！

忘れられないお嬢の昴があります。 「夜のヒットスタジオ」で谷村新司の前で歌った昴を誰か録画していないでしょうか。お嬢が２曲歌い終わって、スタジオが静まり返っていたのが印象的でした。いったい、あの昴は何だったのか、もう一度確認したい。 あの時、はじめて思ったものです、嗚呼、昴ってこれなんだと。
