Some of these comments show the ignorance and arogence of the Ricer community at large, ok 1) it's push rod, if it ain't broken don't fix it, 2) the OHC design of engines is just as old as the OHV design so how are they more technologicaly advanced than OHV? I'd like to know.

nope, in fact its the old push rod design developed a century ago. You think they'd at least have over head cams by now, which reduces the rotating mass, developed in the 80's. Vtec is variable overhead cams. Which means the cams are computer controlled for optimum valve openings at different rpm

Camshaft in Head Engines are Gay. Not good for high rpms, to high in weight and too slow in reaction. But nice Video.

The only reason smaller engines have alot of valves is because the small cylinders means you can only fit small valves, thats why they have more of them. Learn more about engines before posting these comments.
