havent you ever heard of the spanish caste system....spaniard and spaniard = criollo ...I am a criollo Spaniard and Ameri indian= Meztizo Spanirad and Black= Mulatto Ameri indian and Black= Zambo.....(hugo chavez is zambo)

I know because all my great grand parents came from the canary islands spain...they live in cabaiguan cuba......its a town with a large settlement of Canarios.....Just like there is a china town in havana......why is so hard to believe cubans are white and some cubans are just black......we dont hold the same standard in the US as we do to latin american countries

If you go to cuba now your going to see alot more blacks then whites.....If you look at miami and jersey cubans most of us are light skin and look like fidel and raul castro not pitcher el duque orlando hernandez ( did you see cuba in the olympics) also oriente the eastern part of cuba has alot more african root because of immigration from haiti....western cubans tend to be lighter skined

no not all cubans an puerto ricans are black...they just had more slavery like the south in the USA

thats true but how do u know what u have in you. you dont know.i dont even know what i have in me.u look white but down the line someone probably had sex with atleast 1 black person in cuba during slavery.i find it hard to believe u are 100% white.not saying its impossible.

I love this stuff about the african culture and the africans that are outside of the continent. It goes to show that eventhough we were stolen from africa raped, made as slaves, and split up and transported all over the world our culture still survived and will continue to do so and nobody could take that from us. With that said we are natural survivors and very strong people. This is from an african american brother. I love my people wherever your from. Black Power!!!
