Geez, get over yourself. Why do you have to get all pissy about the use of the word "color"? And do you think that BLACK people are the only ones that worked in the cotton fields? How about you listen to the other words in the song and try to get the meaning of the song.

I am an African American who loves country music, but I don't like the title about "color" and the references to cotton farms.

This song get better each time you listen to it. I sure hope there is more of the same to come from Mr. Jamey Johnson.

I know this has nothing to do with this song, but we lost our baby last year at 35 weeks pregnant and it was really scary and heartbreaking. We have pictures of her though, and pictures of us with her and they are in B&W. They were done by an organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, professional photographers that come when something like that happens. It's the story of part of my life in B&W.
