shirley is better of a performer than barbra. shirley is great interpreting songs and made great renditions. i'm both fans of the two. i recently found out about shirley this 2008 only.. but i can so say she's great than barbra. barbra streisand sold more records, i know. but i think her being more white makes a big difference. shirley bassey is half black. regardless, they are both great fans of the late judy garland. and judy a fan of ethel merman. all great belters of all time +<:)

Wonderful...absolutely wonderful! The person below mentioned Beyonce', etc. They're absolutely right. This lady is a brilliant singer and full of class. No skimpy outfit..no radical stage presentation. Just great talent!!!

Pete..thks! I don't think I have ever seen Shirley perform 'Someday' live. I always liked that song and thus also wonder why she has never done that one live.
