They were together with Kraftwerk the inventors of minimalistic pop music (like Reich, Riley & Glass in Classical) Eno was inspired by them, German music was glorious in the 7ties

Such a great song, such a GREAT band. It's 2008 and still Krautrock bands and prog bands are more or less emulating the sounds that NEU! Can and all the other greats pioneered back in the 60's and 70's... Man, this song is just beyond words. The closest thing to perfection and magic that I have ever heard... Barring Damo Suzukis live improv shows.
