The song is called "Atsukunare" (meaning "Get yourself heated" in Japanese) by Maki Oguro, a Japanese pop singer.
This song was also used as the theme music of the Japanese broadcast for the 1996 Olympics.

This is not about a bitter rage on to being the best or pitying one skater over another. This is about figure skaters with their own individual style and certain advantages or disadvantages over their competitors. I get annoyed over seeing vivid bitterness on vicious rivalry instead of expressing fairness between different individual figure skating athletes. Everybody has their own preferences. |
