And the countless other EVA's we have seen? Do those space suits look pressurised like Ed White's? Was Ed White wearing the same suit the Apollo astronauts were?
Perhaps Ed White's suit was stuffed with straw... Maybe he was one big ole' straw man!

the astro-nots spacesuits shows no signs of pressurization compared to ed white's spacesuit did during his eva.

real hard evidence? There's plenty of that now. Tens of Thousands of photos and hundreds of hours of video. None of it has any continuity errors. All of it produced in the age before photoshop. I'm assuming none of that massive opus of evidence doesn't impress you. A few blurry photos taken from a Japanese satellite that taht could easily be edited before they are handed out to the public.. that's what is going to convince you.. is it?

Dear SirNildredPierce, of course I will be happy to accept any real hard evidence - whichever way it will go! I actually hope that americans did go there - in the opposite case - it will be just too big loss of a trust to any democracy (and this trust is already hanging by a thread).
Anyway - Russians are going to make lunokhod again - that could be the best check for american "footprint" on the moon.

And if Kaguya did return images of the Apollo landing site, would you just claim they were fake? Or would you accept them as genuine and as proof they went?
sashasolaris (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
You indeed look to be from the past - soon moon will be debunked by real explorers (not by some "mythbusters" or "mythcreators") - just look at the frantic lunar activities of different nations (India, China, Russia, Europe, USA).
As for crashing and imaging of Kaguya - they will first reduce the size of the orbit - actually one needs to be at about several km above to resolve american flag - the question is - will they pursue the original idea to do that near Apollo site. We shall see.
SirMildredPierce (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
Oh I'm sorry, I forgot you were a spaceman from the future. Tell me, when they "crash" it, how are they going to be able to take any pictures from it. What would be the point of crashing it at the Apollo site, the only thing they might get out of it is they might damage a historical site.
sashasolaris (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
Dear treetheoak, please google for NASA training facilities they produced on the Earth before the Apollo mission.
To SirMildredPierce - ignorance is not the best basis for criticism. Look at the description of Kaguya mission - the satellite will be crashed controlably into the moon on August 2009 (it was supposed to be 2008 - but the mission was extended due to an overwhelming success) - but noone now talks about crashing it near any Apollo site - as it was discussed in 2007.

yup like i said it would be impossable to immatate perfect wieghtlessness using "wires" no matter how tiny they were.
thank you at least someone agrees with me about kaguya!
SirMildredPierce (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
"if the wire and slo mo was true then everything including there tools the flag and the dirt kicke din the air would need to fall at perfect sync... that sounds really really hard effect for wires dontcha think?"
Oh see all those little dust particles were on wire supports too, really tiny wires. |
