Manufacturer’s Description of the Oliver Hardy ventriloquist doll
Laurel and Hardy were one of Hollywood’s greatest comedy teams with many routines that continue to keep audiences laughing! Oliver Hardy’s gargantuan girth was juxtaposed against the spry skinniness of his comic-partner Stan Laurel in a classic example of the visual humor common to the 1930’s and 1940’s. This Oliver Hardy Doll is wearing his Depression-era blue workman’s overalls, a long-sleeved white shirt, and his trademark tie which he incessantly twiddled at the ladies. Oliver also wears black socks and shoes, and a bowler hat. This celebrity dummy/doll comes with a set of basic instructions included on “How To Be A Ventriloquist” and a practical, plastic case for storing and transporting Oliver Hardy to your next amateur or professional show.
