Stop! Look! and Laugh! - the Three Stooges
An odd 'clip show' by puppeteer Paul Winchell, featuring snippets of some of the best moments from the Three Stooges short films, with Paul Winchell and his puppets making the story that links together the various Three Stooges snippets -- although the monkeys performing Cinderella makes me wonder ...Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/13 at 08:15 PM • viewed 326 times

Swing Parade, with the Three Stooges
'Swing Time' is a 1946 musical that doesn't really *star* the Three Stooges (Moe, Larry and Curly) as have them in it for comic relief -- but it's an enjoyable movie anyway!Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/13 at 08:40 PM • viewed 514 times

The Fatal Mallet - Charlie Chaplin
Three men (Charlie Chaplin, Mack Swain, Mack Sennet) fight for the love of a charming girl (Mabel Normand). Pure slapstick, with bricks and a mallet larger than a man's head.Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/05 at 10:50 PM • viewed 217 times

The Lucky Dog - Laurel and Hardy’s first film together
In their first screen appearance together, Stan plays a penniless dog lover and Oliver plays a crook who tries to rob him and his new girlfriend. Although technically the first Laurel and Hardy film, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy are *not* playing their regular characters, and are onscreen together for only a few minutes.Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/01 at 11:07 PM • viewed 251 times

The Outlaws is Coming - the Three Stooges
'The Outlaws is Coming' is one of the Three Stooges (Moe, Larry and Curly Joe) full-length feature films, set in the old West, where they have to stop the villain from destroying the buffalo and inciting war between the Indians (native Americans) and the U. S. Army. To do so, they must protect their newspaper pal (Adam West, in the year before he found fame as TV's 'Batman') against all of the villains of the old West - who are played by the various kidshow TV hosts that were playing the Three Stooges short films at the time!Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/13 at 05:24 PM • viewed 515 times

The Three Stooges Collection volume 1 1934-1936
Finally! All of the Three Stooges short films (from 1934-1936 in this first volume) in chronological order -- no more 'missing' short films. And almost better than that is the quality of the digital restoration, where the individual short films look as good (or better) than they must have during their theatrical release. Add to that the fact that there's 19 shorts on 2 DVD's, and it's all good.Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/25 at 10:37 AM • viewed 673 times

The Three Stooges Extreme Rarities
A DVD with outtakes of the Stooges from the Steve Allen Show (hilarious!), from Danny Thomas Presents (also hilarious!), a very interesting behind the scenes interview withe Moe, Larry and Curly Joe (and their families) at a picnic, interviews with Joe Besser and Larry Fine (after his stroke), various commercials and trailers, and the Shemp short film 'Heavenly Daze' (both colorized & restored black and white), etc. -- well worth viewing!Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 12/25 at 08:33 PM • viewed 688 times
