The elementary school teacher was working on Language Arts with her class. She asked one of her students, "Little Johnny, could you give me a sentence that starts with the letter I?"
Johnny stood up and said, "I is ..."
The teacher interrupted and said, "Johnny, you never say ‘I is’ you always say ‘I am’."
"Always?" asked Johnny.
The teacher replied, "Yes, always."
Johnny started again, "Okay, I am the ninth letter of the alphabet."
