Bill Ding is a personal favorite. It’s a very neat stacking toy, shaped like a little clown, with ‘hooks’ built into the head, shoulders and feet that enable you to stack them up in hundreds of ways. I first ran across them in Popular Woodworking magazine—and since I’m not gifted in that way, I can’t make my own. But I could buy them now :)
