Funny movie quotes from Hot Ice (1955) starring the Three Stooges—Moe, Larry, Shemp
Moe: We’ll clean up this case like we cleaned up this yard—clean as a whistle. (chuckles to himself over his own cleverness) Not bad, huh?
Larry: Not good, either.
Larry: (smelling woman’s drink) It’s liquor!
Moe: (taking the drink from Larry) She’s sicker.
Shemp: (taking the drink from Moe) I’m quicker! (drinks it)
Moe: Let’s get to the heart of this case:
Larry: Yes, doctor! [pulls out stethoscope, starts ‘listening’ to wooden dresser]
Moe: What do you hear?
Larry: Termites.
Moe: Good
Larry: (as Moe pulls a cigar out of a ‘cigarette’ case) Oh, boy, evidence! Let’s weigh it!
Shemp: Let’s smoke it!
Shemp: [tossing candies into the air, catching them in his mouth] It’s much harder with oranges.
Moe: [using an ice tong down Shemp’s throat to try and retrieve the diamond from Shemp’s stomach]: It’s stuck on something.
Larry: You think it’s his appendix?
Moe: We’ll soon find out!
Larry: We’re trapped like rats!
Moe: Speak for yourself! (slaps Larry)
