I Love Lucy - the Vitameatavegamin Dress
Lucille Ball made several iconic appearances on I Love Lucy, and one of the most famous of those was in the episode Lucy Makes a Television Commercial, which many people thinks of as the Vitameatavegamin episode. In a nutshell, Lucy connives her way onto a TV show that Ricky will be hosting as the lady making the commercial—selling a health potion called vitameatavegamin, which contains vitamins, meat, vegetables and minerals—and alcohol! As Lucy does multiple practice sessions as “your Vitameatavegamin girl,” becoming more and more intoxicated with each take.
This dress is a recreation of the dress that Lucy Ricardo wore as “your Vitameatavegamin girl” including hounds tooth dress with insignia, velvet pill box hat and belt with peplum. It does not include either the Lucille Ball wig or bottle of Vitameatavegamin.
- The I Love Lucy Vitameatavegamin Costume is an officially licensed product.
- The I Love Lucy Vitameatavegamin Costume is 100% Polyester. Hand wash cool water. Line dry. No bleach.
