In the service, you tend to be innoculated against everything, whether you need it or not.  The story is told of the carrier pilot, who after receiving his umpteenth injection, asked for a drink of water.

The corpsman asked, "Are you dizzy?"

The carrier pilot replied, "No, I just want to find out if I’m still water-tight."
