Synopsis of Money from Home
In Money from Home, Dean Martin plays “Honey Talk” Nelson, a gambler who finds himself in debt to the mob. In order to get out of trouble, he agrees to fix a horse race, with the reluctant help of his cousin Virgil (played by Jerry Lewis), a veterinary assistant. Complications arise when Martin and Lewis meet the owner of the horse, My Sheba, and her veterinary doctor, and promptly fall in love with them.
