Whoops, I’m an Indian! - the Three Stooges Moe, Larry, Curly (1936)
In the Old West, the Three Stooges (Moe, Larry and Curly) are running a crooked gambling game. When discovered, the Stooges flee for their lives into the woods, and hide in a cabin, where they disguise themselves as Indians (nowadays we would call them Native Americans). The disguises work until the owner of the cabin, Pierre (played to perfection by Bud Jamison) returns, and marries the ‘squaw’ that he finds in his cabin—Curly! The Three Stooges are unmasked and end up in jail.
Whoops, I’m an Indian! is available on the Three Stooges DVD collection Healthy, Wealthy and Dumb.
