Ship Ahoy | Red Skelton | Eleanor Powell
In 'Ship Ahoy', Eleanor Powell plays the part of Miss Winters, a dancer with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra who is asked to secretly transport a prototype magnetic mine to Puerto Rico. She thinks that she is working for the US Government, but is being tricked by enemy agents got the plan from a pulp novel written by Red Skelton's character, Merton Kibble, who is also on the ship and falls in love with her.
