The Essential Chaplin - book review
Book review of 'The Essential Chaplin - Perspectives on the Life and Art of the Great Comedian, edited with an introduction by Richard Schickel'. In a nutshell, it's a collection of Charlie Chaplin's contemporaries, writing about him at the time of his great success. Truly fascinating reading, with articles by Alistair Cooke, Alexander Woolcot, and Winston Churchill (yes, *that* Churchill). A fascinating read, strongly recommended for fans of Charlie Chaplin.Posted by Tom Raymond, aka Raynbow on 08/09 at 04:00 PM
