Obstacle in the Road - clown skit

There is an obstacle in the road ahead - clown skit for 1 speaking clown, courtesy of Mizzizippy at aol dot com

Zippy comes in carrying a sign that says
“Obstacle in the Road ahead”

“How am I going to get around this obstacle in the road.?
They said it blocking the whole road
And it is the only way to go to get where I am going.

Let me look in my bag and see if I have something that will help move the obstacle out of my way.
Pulls out giant firecrackers ... and says
Maybe I can blow up the obstacle in the way.
Oh but that might be kinda messy and throw debris all over the road

Pulls out a shovel and says
“Maybe I could just shovel it out of the way”
But what if it is too heavy for me to lift..than what will I do?

Pulls out a stuffed dog or lion and says
Maybe my dog could bark and could growl at it and that would move the obstacle (Lion would roar and growl.)
But what if the obstacle is bigger than him, he could get hurt.

Zippy says…You know there is no way I can move this obstacle by my-self
Pulls out Bible and says, “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
I cannot see the obstacle for it is so far ahead ..But God sees it and I have faith that God will be my help in time of need.

I better talk this over with God, before I do something

I have to make sure I am clothed with the right clothes.

Takes light out of pocket (to shine to find way) light is not working shakes it and moves it around. God will light my way

I have to remember who is in charge here…God or me
If I mean to be obedient and submissive to the Lord because He is my Lord, I must not forget that whatever He allows to happen becomes, for me, His will at that moment.

Pulls out heart and says

(Pulls out sword and waves it around)
Never trust anything that contradicts the Word of God.

And picks up the sign that says “Obstacle ahead in Road” and says…Now I am ready to get through the obstacle ahead in the road.
