This slapstick comedy is a hilarious spoof on "Around The World In 80 Days." The grandson of the celebrated Phinius Fogg makes a bet with his cohorts at the London Explorers Club that he can complete the journey. Moe, Larry, and Curly Joe are the dedicated servants who accompany the explorer along with his pretty girlfriend Amelia (Joan Freeman). The group must earn money to live on along the way as the wager was made with the provision young Fogg bring no money. Curly Joe fights a Sumo wrestler in Japan for prize money. In a hilarious scene, the Stooges observe a Japanese trio of Stooges acting like their American counterparts and walk away shaking their heads in disbelief over the slapstick behavior. The group races against time to complete the journey and collect on the bet. Longtime Stooge associate Emil Sitka appears as a butler in the exclusive blue blooded club. Directed by Moe's son-in-law Norman Maurer, this may be the funniest of all the Stooges films from the 1960s. Larry Fine - Larry Curly Joe DeRita - Curly-Joe Jay Sheffield - Phileas Fogg III Joan Freeman - Amelia Walter Burke - Loty Filch Peter Forster - Vickers Cavendish Maurice Dallimore - Crotchet Richard Devon - Maharajah Anthony Eustrel - Kandu Robert Kino - Bill Murray Alper - Gus Don Lamond - Bill Jack Greening - McPherson Emil Sitka - Butler Ramsay Hill - Gatesby Ron Whelan - Harry Phil Arnold - Referee Colin Campbell - Willoughy Iau Kea - Itchi Kitchi Michael St. Clair - 1st Mate Moe Howard - Stooge / Moe

The off camera announcer for this"Three Stooges"feature film trailer is Mr.Art Gilmore(The announcer for The Red Skelton TV Hour on CBS TV). BTW:Ms.Joan Freeman's"Ms.Amelia Carter'..didn't scream in that scene.Where she is being placed on the train by the kidnappers..she actually said"Let Go Of Me!".

An early working title for this feature film was "Three Stooges Go Around the World on 80 Cents". Moe's artist son-in-law drew up a movie poster layout using that title...

Dear Foxter, According to"The Three Stooges Scrapbook"..the book written by Mrs.Joan Maurer and The Lenburg Brothers. "The Three Stooges Go Around The World In A Daze" is "Curly Joe"De Rita's favorite "Stooge"film...or so the book says.

That's been a family quote for decades. Too bad the Stooges didn't live long enough to be in Kung Fu Movies.

Moe said that because he wanted to discourage kids from duplicating the "eye poke" routine; he was concerned that if some tried to duplicate in real life what he did in the original two-reel shorts seen on TV every day, they might hurt themselves and their friends (he stressed this whenever he visited "Officer Joe" Bolton on WPIX-TV in New York, and other children's show hosts who featured the Stooges, in the '60s and early '70s).

"That's number 21 we don't do that anymore. We do number 47 like this"...RFLMAO
