I just realised that it's not the content of this video that impresses me the most (as the 23 year old "digital native" that I am most of this isn't that new to me) but the form of it. This probably could be used in an introduction to some university anthropology class and is interesting in an almost entertaining way. Reminded me of "a vision of students today" (watch?v=dGCJ46vyR9o) and made me wonder whether something like this could be used in serious teaching environments.

The internet is so self-involved. So much of its content is about its own form. Look at this video; take the 'feeding the machine metaphor', we feed it so much of our own interpretation of it.
The polarized interpretation of this video is interesting. Some people find it inspiring, some people find it terrifying, some think it is meant to inspire, some think it is meant to terrify.
Really, I don't know what its trying to impress. Unless it supposed to be a kind of rorschach test.

what are your reasons to hate Web 2.0?

@kixdirtsevin Dude, you obviously don't know what Web 2.0 is. Web 2.0 creates freedom in the web, it makes it so anyone can create content, not just those who know HTML etc. YOUTUBE is a part of Web 2.0. Think about things first mate, otherwise you seem ignorant and stupid. |
