Some of the top Global Warming "Scientists" had their e-mails hacked and as it turns out they falsified data, buried contradictory data, manipulated the media, fabricated false reports, manipulated politicians, talked about how the data didn't support their own claims and even wondered amongst themselves why the data didn't support their hypothesis.

As a consequence of the idiotic bureaucracy of the California government, crippling taxes and regulations and vast numbers of non-working, non-taxpaying people, illegal and legal, who contribute nothing to the agricultural output of the state, but continue to massively consume the productivity of the farmers. we have technology (hydro farms) don't need any soil to grow food.
we have technology to get water out of air. yes dehumidifier+water filter = good water.
look in to green house in the harsh cold and hot environment lots of food.
