I hate that miserable song, change the radio station every time, but I guess I'm suffering for Curly. I'd heard the bullet was in his back, and was shot by one of his ex wives, and was left in because it was too close to some artery or something, but it gave him constant pain.

Unbelievable comic genius , worked on their timing for pokes to the eyes , 100's of dangerous gimic's so no one would be hurt while filming , professionals the lot , vaudaville to the core with many diverse talents , most of which we never totally saw on film .
3 individuals with custom made entertainment for the masses . Uniquely brought together by a great director Jules White .

At 2:11 the photo depicts "Curly Joe" DeRita. NOT Curly Howard. But it is an easy mistake to make.

Heavens to murgatroid! What an awesome tribute to a comedy genius! THANKS for sharing it with us! All the Stooges were gifted performers but most fans will agree that Curly was the most talented....he was the funniest overall. Yes, he did have more than his fair share of life's tragedies ("I'm a victim of coicumstance!") & he should have taken better care of himself...but thanks to the magic of film, he will continute to make untold generations laugh...nyuk nyuk nyuk!
