This is one of the most hilarious things skits I've seen in my life. The part where they flick the cheeries into the open mouth of the singer has me rolling on the floor, laughing my @ss off.

Larry does a great job at lip syncing...the way he carries his whole body.

I've always thought this short, "Uncivil War Birds" and "Three Little Pirates" to be Curly's best performances during his declining health era.

I think the singers name in the short was "Sigmond Spumoni". The look he gives the Stooges at 4:41-4:46 is priceless!

The Stooges singing from 2:40 to 4:04 is hilarious....especially Larry's part.

This is among my favorite shorts of all time outside of the World War II-theme shorts.
The one where the stooges panicked at the end, fled the house with records thrown at them with the end credit music playing at the same time ranks as one of my favorite endings of any shorts.
For the illness-era Curly shorts, this is probably his best of this era. |
