I see British Airways and Iberia the Spanish National Airline have merged! That is great news for everyone! How history turns history on it's head! I for one wecome our Spanish friends into this new venture which will make the company the 4th largest airline in the world! UK Spain will rule! lol!

20 yrs and I finnally get to see me smile, can still remember freezing my butt off making our part of this ad. Thanks for posting it and sorry for scaring small children. Info: The last part was filmed in Dead Horse Park near Moab, Utah. Grand County High Drill team and Cheerleaders performed the smile and wink. Our school was donated money for each student involved in the filming.

this was back before BA contravershally dropped the union jack but glad they changed there mind even thow there not my favoure airline being british i like that it is reconised :D

I believe the musical number in the ad is Yanni's "Aria", which itself is based on the "Flower Duet".

Classic ad! Can't believe it's 20 years old... Internal next week to LHR, then going to Oz with them in the new year! Wouldn't go any other way.
