You wouldn't be able to tell from this footage but in the old whaling days the Gray whale was a feared opponent. Because where the Right whale and Sperm whale thrashed around when harpooned, the Gray Whale actively attacked the boats, leaping up from the ocean and crushing the boats underneath them added to smashing the boats with their tails. Gray Whales were so ferocious that the whalers nicknamed them "Devil fish"
Sure he looks like a big lug but don't piss him off.
