Thank you Pastor Tim Conway. As I watched most of this video, God continued showing me my own self-righteousness, depending upon my own works to stay in the faith. I repented of this self righteousness this morning, seeing myself as I am once again, and cling wholly and solely upon the Cross and finished work of Christ for not just salvation, but in perseverence as well. Thank God for His grace!

wow, this is sad.the bible is very plain about what has to happen for a person to be saved, there will always be skeptics, who will try to rip apart the scriptures and mis-lead people.I would say ask god for guidance, the bible says lean not on your own understanding.

Correct - which by YOUR OWN account proves water baptism is UNnecessary for salvation.
*
Christians ARE saved & sealed BEFORE baptism
*
So please stop with STOP emphasizing BAPTISM
as REQUIRED for salvation

Well Acts 2:38-41 People were baptized by Peter. Acts 8:12 Philip baptized people. in Acts 18:5 Paul baptized people. All were baptized in Jesus name by 3 Apostles. So I would say Christians are baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

She HAS been mislead by EVIDENCE bashes who DEMAND instant compliance as "proof" of salvation

Produce some videos condemning gluttony and
highway speeding and the "occasional" rolling
through a stop sign.

I think your view on this is unbalanced. You have to take other verses into account that desribe what is necessary for salvation without mentioning baptism. |
